Even though newsletters are one of the oldest business marketing methods, they are still as powerful and popular as ever. If you are wondering what the appeal is and why your clients would love to receive a newsletter from you, then read on.
Entertainment - Newsletters are like a mini magazine or newspaper. They are not long enough to be boring, but are just long enough to communicate what you want to say about your business. As a newsletter can include articles, trivia and tips your reader will view it as entertainment rather than advertising. They might read it on their lunch break at work or while they are having a coffee at their kitchen table at night. Some might even take it to the bathroom with them, like my hubby does.
Value - You add a whole lot of value to your service when you send your client a newsletter. They get free tips and useful advice from an expert (YOU!).
Knowledge - The information you include in your newsletter will arm your clients with knowledge on services and products your business and industry provide so they can make an informed decision when it comes to buy. And when they are ready to buy, who will they call? You, of course.
Added to all of this is the fact that your clients will love that you are thinking of them. So why wouldn’t you send a newsletter?
